    My Android smartphone security / virus scan flags the "Backpacker's Kuala Lumpur Tourist Map" app or "Backpacker's Ipoh Tourist Map" app as virus infected. Is this true? Why is there virus in the apps?

      There is a known/reported issue with certain virus protection software or app. Any app created using the MIT App Inventor platform that uses the texting component (SMS) will generate the virus warning "android.smssend.origin.247". This is a false positive virus detection that you can safely ignore. Thank you.
